School-Based Paraprofessional Job - Part Time
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Paraprofessional to join the team at a local school district in the area. This full-time, onsite position is an excellent opportunity to support students in their educational journey and make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities...
Ā Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities.
Ā Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them understand and complete assignments.
Ā Monitor and assist students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess.
Ā Support students with special needs by adapting materials and strategies to meet their individual requirements.
Ā Caseload may include student with severe behaviors (Hitting, Biting, Spitting, Running).
Ā Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Ā High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
Ā Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Ā Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ā Toileting and diapering may be required
Ā Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Ā Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.
