+ There are no weekends and typically no Holidays. Will have to work the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
+ Will be on-site for the first week for Training at Barnes Jewish.
+ Job Duties: work out of a wque que in EPIC and scheduled consultations for West County's satellite location.
+ Job Duties:verify insurance, making phone calls to patients, communication with Nurse Coordinators for consults and completing intake forms for the Nurses.
+ Preferred Experience: Excel, EPIC, Call center, Scheduling, Insurance verification.

• *Preferred Qualifications**
• *Role Purpose**
Performs a variety of clerical tasks to process patients for their radiation oncology appointments; interviews and registers patients; confirms with the patient all applicable medical insurance company information, and enters this information into the registration system.
• *Responsibilities**
+ Performs registration functions.
+ Communicate in a professional, positive and respectful manner with patients and offices. Be able to provide consistent excellent customer service in a variety of situations.
+ Confirms accuracy of patient information.
+ Responsible for receiving high volume of incoming physician and patient calls. Scheduling patients in a timely and accurate manner using clinical and financial criteria. Provide preparation instructions for each procedure scheduled.
+ Contacts appropriate insurance companies for benefit verification and pre-certification of procedures. Notifies financial counselor for prepayment of uncoded services.
