Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Allenwood, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and gain hands-on teaching experience on your own schedule. Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality teaching and instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners
Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school administrators
Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced educational setting
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
A NJ Substitute Credential
A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
Full COVID-19 vaccination
