What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle and review assigned SAR cases within available SLAs, advising relevant stakeholders on next steps
- Maintain SAR escalation log and ensure all escalations are promptly reviewed and resolved
- Support the client off-boarding process and maintain the client off-boarding log
- Escalate cases with grounds for suspicion to the team lead and relevant MLROs
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve the quality of SARs, ensuring consistency and accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a Business, Legal, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of experience in investigations, including filing SARs, or related audit/regulatory experience at a financial institution or fintech company
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on high standards and action-oriented results
- Strong written and verbal communication, time management, analytical, and investigative skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Good knowledge of local laws, directives, regulations, and standards applicable to subject persons
- Familiarity with compliance applications and programs such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, Kodex, World-Check, etc.
