SAP TM Functional Consultant (Salt Lake City, UT - Remote)
About the position Responsibilities • Set up and maintain SAP TM master data elements and configure document types, including OTR/DTR and Freight Orders. • Configure and integrate SAP TM with Sales Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders, and Service Entry Sheets. • Work closely with business teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP TM with other systems and processes. • Manage Freight Planning, VSR Optimizer, and the implementation of freight charge calculations. • Oversee data interfaces, including EDI/IDOC/RFC integrations, to ensure accurate and efficient data flow across systems. • Provide functional expertise and support throughout the SAP TM implementation and optimization processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of SAP TM solutions with business objectives. Requirements • 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM (Transportation Management) and SAP LE (Logistics Execution). • Strong knowledge of SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN) and its integration with SAP TM. • Proven experience in configuring and managing SAP TM master data, document types (OTR/DTR, Freight Orders), and integration with Sales Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders, and Service Entry Sheets. • Solid understanding of Freight Planning, VSR Optimizer, and freight charge calculations. • Experience with EDI/IDOC/RFC data interfacing and troubleshooting. • Knowledge of SAP OTC (Order to Cash) processes and integration with SAP TM.
