Role: SAP SSAM Metadata Developer (Technical) Duration: 2–3 Months (Gig/Project-based, approx. 200–300 hours) Location: Remote (with 30%+ travel required for workshops/deployments) Rate: DOE Experience: 8+ Years in SAP Mobile Solutions (3+ Years specifically in SSAM/MDK) Client: Wipro/Rizing Job Description: We are seeking a Strong Technical SSAM Metadata Developer for a focused, gig-style engagement. This is a pure technical execution role requiring deep expertise in the SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) architecture, specifically regarding metadata configuration and the Mobile Application Integration Framework (MAIF). You will work directly with the implementation team to handle complex backend and frontend synchronization logic. Key Responsibilities: • Metadata Configuration: extensive hands-on configuration of OData Mobile Data Objects (OMDO) and xChange objects within the MAIF. • MDK Development: Develop and customize the SSAM client using the SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK) and SAP Business Application Studio. • Backend Integration: Manage offline OData store settings, synchronization logic, and error handling between SAP S/4HANA and the mobile client. • Performance Tuning: Optimize metadata queries and sync times for field workers operating in offline environments. Required Skills: • Deep technical proficiency in SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM). • Expertise in Mobile Application Integration Framework (MAIF) configuration (OMDO, xChange tables). • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK). • Knowledge of SAP BTP Mobile Services and Cloud Connector. • Ability to travel to client sites (30%+) for critical deployment phases.
