SAP MM/WM

Infosys is seeking Senior SAP MM/WM Consultant This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology. • Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Richardson/Houston, TX or Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ or Indianapolis, IN or Chicago or be willing to relocate to any of these locations. • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Preferred Qualification • At least 4 years of experience in SAP projects, including 2 year's experience in full-life cycle implementation projects in SAP MM/WM. • Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution • Strong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration and system integration areas. • Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2b Integration and system to system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods is essential • Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits is essential • Experience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirable • Ability to read ABAP codes is required. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, Analytical and Communication skills. • Experience with project management is desired and expected to possess planning and coordination skills • Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces. • Experience with in Logistics execution • Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements • Testing and rollout of the final product • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously • Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams • Analytical and Communication skills • Planning and Co-ordination skills. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
