Time : 8 am CST to 5 pm CST Visa : USC/GC Type: [Full-time/] CTH About the Role We are seeking a contract to HIRE skilled SAP MM Functional Consultant responsible for the design, development, configuration, and support of SAP applications supporting Supply Chain operations. This role requires expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) (Master Data governance (MDG), Procurement, Logistics, Consumption-Based Planning, External Services Management, and LIS) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver Supply Chain solutions and address operational challenges effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, configure, and support SAP MM and EWM modules. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, SD, FI, BW, PM, and CRM, to provide effective Supply Chain solutions. • Provide expertise in Inventory Management, including valuations, movements, and reconciliations. • Lead and support project cutover and hyper-care activities. • Perform data cleansing for material master and transactional data, such as open purchase orders, reservations, and purchase requisitions. • Execute material master extensions, inventory transfers, and purchase order conversion strategies. • Configure MM Logistics, including plants, storage locations, procurement, and inventory management processes. • Hands-on experience with material planning, MRP procedures, and cycle counting. • Develop and utilize test plans and tools to ensure quality assurance before production deployment. • Conduct root cause analysis for complex issues, propose solutions, and ensure implementation and communication of resolutions. • Configure and troubleshoot IDOC/EDI transactions for purchase orders, advance ship notifications, and vendor invoices. • Support and troubleshoot production issues from both functional and technical perspectives, determining whether ABAP development, process change, or configuration adjustments are required. • Create functional specifications based on business and user requirements. • Participate in new developments and system implementations. • Drive operational excellence and innovation by identifying process and technology improvements while managing cost-effectiveness. • Mentor and support team members by teaching analytical and problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in SAP MM and EWM configuration and support. • Strong background in procurement and logistics, with hands-on experience in inventory management. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including MDG (Master Data Governance) and data migration processes. • Experience in material master and transactional data cleansing. • Strong understanding of SAP integration with FI, SD, and Work Management modules. • Expertise in IDOC/EDI mapping and troubleshooting for procurement-related transactions. • Ability to troubleshoot technical and functional production issues efficiently. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of SAP EWM and COUPA is a plus. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration and data governance. • Exposure to process automation and optimization within SAP MM/EWM.
