Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Mobile Developer with expertise in SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK) to join our Fortune 15 client's growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BAS, SAP BTP, Advanced JavaScript, and OData, along with hands-on experience in mobile service configurations and native Android development. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that bridge enterprise applications with mobile technologies using the SAP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using SAP MDK, SAP BTP, and Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Build scalable and secure applications leveraging OData protocols for backend integration.
• Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient code in advanced JavaScript for cross-platform mobile applications.
• Configure and support mobile services within the SAP BTP environment.
• Design and implement native Android components when needed for custom features or performance optimization.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on cloud deployment processes including Cloud Foundry.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle – from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
• Work closely with UX/UI teams to ensure mobile applications deliver great user experiences.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve existing mobile solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• 5–8 years of professional experience in the technology industry with 4+ years in mobile application development.
• Proficient in SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Strong command of OData protocols and RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in Advanced JavaScript development and cross-platform frameworks.
• Proven experience with SAP Mobile Services and MDK applications.
• Working knowledge of native Android development (Java/Kotlin).
• Basic understanding of Cloud Foundry, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
• SAP MDK certification or formal training.
• Experience integrating SAP mobile apps with backend systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Knowledge of security and performance best practices for mobile applications.
