Title: SAP ABAP Developer Medical Device Industry Location: Remote Industry: Medical Device / Life SciencesJob Description:We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support and enhance SAP systems within a regulated medical device environment. This role is 100% remote and involves developing secure, validated SAP solutions across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Regulatory functions.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain custom SAP solutions in ECC or S/4HANA (SD, MM, WM, PP, QM, FI).Create and support RICEF/W objects Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows.Build integrations between SAP and external systems used in regulated manufacturing or quality environments.Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, GxP, and other regulatory standards.Support audits, CAPAs, and system documentation efforts.Utilize ABAP Workbench, OOP, SmartForms, SAPScripts, ALV, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, etc.Participate in S/4HANA transformation, including code remediation and modernization.Required Skills:3 7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development.Experience in a regulated industry (Medical Device, Pharma, Life Sciences).Strong understanding of FDA/GxP-compliant SAP environments.Proficiency in ABAP Debugging, Performance Tuning, and Object-Oriented Programming.Experience across core SAP modules: SD, MM, PP, WM, QM, FI.Preferred Skills:Experience with Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, and OData.SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP for NetWeaver or S/4HANA.Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, or similar compliance standards.Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
