About the Role We are currently looking for a 3rd shift Sanitation Associate to play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our egg processing facility. As a Sanitation Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and that our facility meets the highest standards of USDA/AQ/HACCP requirements for sanitation operations. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces in the egg processing facility, including removing egg debris accumulated throughout the day on processing equipment, floors, and surrounding areas. Maintaining a clean and safe plant environment while adhering to all USDA/AQ/HACCP requirements for sanitation operations. Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when using chemicals or cleaning supplies. Documenting work performed in the facility. Collaborating with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age. Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds. No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role, preferably in a food processing environment. Familiarity with USDA/AQ/HACCP requirements for sanitation operations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Competencies: Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to work in a demanding environment.
