Responsibilities: Responsible for business development across the GEMS portfolio in India to increase Keysight wallet share across General Electronics, Digital Healthcare, and Education. Requires strong understanding of market needs, technology trends, and application requirements across these segments, with the ability to identify strategic customers, ecosystem partners, and growth opportunities, and to develop relevant engagement and partnership plans. Work closely with the sales team to strengthen solution positioning, support opportunity development, build funnel, and improve sales conversion. In addition to customer-facing responsibilities, the candidate is expected to provide actionable market intelligence and customer insights to support portfolio strategy, solution roadmap, and internal business planning. Key activities: Drive business development and market expansion across General Electronics, Digital Healthcare, and Education segments. Identify strategic customers, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to expand market reach and unlock new opportunities. Work with the sales team to develop solution positioning, strengthen pipeline, and improve conversion. Build and manage relationships with key external stakeholders including industry, government, research, and academic institutions where relevant. Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support solution roadmap and business strategy. Support cross-segment opportunity development to accelerate overall GEMS business growth in India. Enable Lead Generation Generates well-qualified leads by engaging targeted customers and events. Provide training & collaterals on a new solution for the sales team. Leverage key success stories to increase winning rate. Reach beyond the traditional ECE departments to increase our customer base (Physics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, etc.) May lead key research technology track content development for customer engagement. Align with Keysight Education resource Align with KEP (Keysight Education Program) initiatives, ensuring long term branding through sustainable business goal. Collaborates with marketing team to engage more customers to maximize business and branding recognition. Lead collaboration across ISTs, COEs, and Labs especially on research solution needs. Qualifications: Job Qualifications Degree in electrical or computer engineering with +7 years of application measurement experience Results oriented, demonstrated track record of success delighting customers and delivering solutions to market. Outstanding leadership and teamwork skills to effectively influence strategy and gain alignment across all levels of planning Effective oral and written communications. Ability to deliver effective training to internal field partners, solution partners or to enable customers to understand Keysight solution benefits. Willing to travel > 30% of the time. Desired Strong understanding of where the money comes from for research. Experience with grant writing and/or university buying behaviour/ process.
