Job Overview As a Salesforce Developer, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation and efficiency within our organization. What you’ll do • Design and develop custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Implement service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions. • Integrate Salesforce with other systems using RESTful APIs and web services for seamless data flow. • Optimize existing applications for performance, usability, and scalability while ensuring adherence to security standards. • Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. • Conduct system testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in software development. Skills • Proficient in Salesforce development tools including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts including SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). • Experience with integration technologies such as RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware solutions. • Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. • Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git. • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go for application development. • Understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware or Docker for efficient resource management. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for deployment and infrastructure management.
