Sales Representative - Furnishings (Western Region)

Trivantage is recruiting for a Sales Representative focused on our Furnishings business. This role will support and grow the Western Region of the US. The Furnishings Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across the Western United States. This role focuses primarily on the outdoor furnishings segment, with additional responsibilities supporting hospitality accounts and upholstery businesses that serve both indoor and outdoor applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the furnishings, textiles, or related industries and a strong understanding of customer needs across multiple segments. This position requires a self-motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who can manage an assigned territory, identify growth opportunities, and deliver value through product knowledge, service, and strategic account development.
***This is a remote role with travel across the Western part of the US. Ideally located in California or Nevada***
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a territory sales plan to drive revenue growth in the Outdoor Furnishings, Hospitality, and Upholstery segments.
Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting and onboarding new accounts.
Conduct regular in-person customer visits throughout the territory, with travel up to 50%.
Analyze territory sales reports and customer trends to identify growth opportunities and develop account-specific action plans.
Prepare for customer visits by reviewing account history, product mix, and purchasing activity to ensure productive meetings.
Plan and manage travel schedules to maximize face-to-face customer time and effective territory coverage.
Present product lines, new introductions, and promotional programs, recommending solutions that meet customer needs.
Continuously develop expertise in the company’s product portfolio and competitive positioning through training and field experience.
Collaborate with internal teams—including Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Technical Support—to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing field feedback to support product and marketing strategies.
Support customer training, and industry events within the territory.
Maintain accurate and timely Customer Relationship (CRM) records while achieving or exceeding assigned sales targets.
Attend and represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events to build brand presence and generate new business opportunities.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and related training.
5+ years of experience in the furnishings, textiles, outdoor, hospitality, or upholstery markets preferred.
5+ years’ experience in B2B
Background/competency in sales
Territory sales and account development
Relationship building and customer retention
