They are seeking a Sales Professional to work from home, responsible for presenting at-need cemetery and pre-need arrangement services to consumers while achieving monthly sales targets and developing community relationships to generate leads.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for attaining or exceeding monthly sales revenue quotaApplying sales skills, presents Dignity Memorial® Personal Planning Guide electronic power point presentations to consumers informing them of at-need cemetery and pre-need arrangement services and productsInfluences consumer on the benefits of pre-planning for a soft closeGuides and tours prospective families through cemetery grounds or crematory mausoleums actively listening to needs, asking probing questions, and discussing optionsDevelops an understanding of each family’s unique needs and offers solutions to meet their needsProvides service beyond expectations to form the foundation for future salesPromotes the SCI Brand and service excellenceFollowing company processes and procedures, thoroughly and accurately completes contracts; follows up on outstanding documents and family questionsProvides and walks family through final contractAddresses final questionsSelf-initiates leads throughout the community, professional networks, civic, businesses, and organizations by building professional and reliable relationshipsProspects at least 50% of workday such as approaching families face-to-face during events, door knocking, or seminarsMaintains and tracks activity levels in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to ensure productivity, often works nights and weekendsObtains referrals from families served through after care visits (ACV)Schedules sales appointmentsBased on qualifying lead, prepares marketing materials or cultural knowledge for appointmentsEstablishes and maintains professional and service oriented relationships with families by connecting with the family, resolving their concerns and needs, and meeting commitmentsConnects with families through listening, honest communication and genuine concernSupports families in time of grief with acts of kindness; attends services and/or receptionsRepresents a continuous link from services provided at need, through aftercare, to providing services to protect families in futureCollaborates and builds professional working relationships with management and staff to provide high quality services and improve processesShares family concerns with rest of the SCI teamSkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCurrent state/province issued driver's license with an acceptable driving recordFuneral Directors License where required by state lawLife Insurance license where required by state law; company will support obtaining licensingComputer and technology skillsGoal oriented self-starterPublic speaking ability; comfortable presenting to small groupsStrong customer service skillsAbility to build rapport and communicate effectively with familiesCollege coursework preferredSales experience preferredIndustry experience a plusPrevious Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems experience a plusBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionFlexible Spending Accounts (health care and dependent care)Health Savings Account with Company ContributionSick LeaveShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityLife InsuranceVoluntary Accidental Death or Dismemberment InsuranceDependent Life InsuranceSCI 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company matchEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany OverviewService Corporation International (NYSE:SCI), headquartered in Houston, Texas, is North America’s leading provider of death care products and services.
