Job Title: Sales Manager – Software Development & Custom SolutionsLocation: RemoteReporting to: CEOJob Timing: 9am to 6pm MST USAJob SummaryWe are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts in software development and custom technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new prospects, generating qualified leads, managing the sales pipeline, and collaborating closely with technical content writers to support lead generation and conversion.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, research, and generate new business opportunities for software development and custom IT solutionsDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and strategic partners
Lead and guide a team of technical content writers to create sales-enabling content (case studies, proposals, whitepapers, blogs, presentations, etc.)Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align messaging with customer needsManage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closingPrepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and solution demosMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and client requirementsMaintain accurate sales forecasts and reports for managementRepresent the company in meetings, networking events, and industry forums
Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in software development, IT services, or custom solutionsStrong understanding of software development services (web, mobile, cloud, custom applications, etc.)Experience in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline managementAbility to lead and collaborate with technical content writers and cross-functional teamsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling custom software solutions to international clientsFamiliarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)Understanding of content-driven sales and inbound lead generationPrior experience managing or mentoring a sales or content team
