Floodlight Software builds inspection management software for industrial service companies. Our customers perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on critical infrastructure - pipelines, bridges, manufacturing equipment, power plants - the kind of work that keeps the world running safely.

Our platform replaces paper processes, Excel spreadsheets, and manual reporting with a streamlined digital system. We're a small, founder-led company at an inflection point - and we need someone who can help us reach more of the right companies.

The Role

Your job is simple and high impact:
• Identify qualified NDT companies
• Have real conversations with their owners and operations managers
• Book qualified demos for our founding team

You are not expected to close deals. You are expected to generate qualified opportunities. Our demo close rate is high - when you book a good meeting, it almost always becomes a customer. Your work directly drives revenue.

You won't be starting from scratch. We have a warm database of thousands of industry contacts built over years of trade shows, events, and marketing and ready to work. Your job is to turn those contacts into conversations.

This is a phone-first role. If you don't like picking up the phone, this is not the job for you.

What You'll Do
• Make 60–80 outbound calls per day
• Send personalized emails as part of structured outreach sequences
• Connect with prospects on LinkedIn
• Research companies before calling
• Log all activity in our CRM
• Follow up quickly on inbound leads
• Learn the NDT industry well enough to have credible conversations

Your main metric: qualified demos that show up.

Who This Is For

We’re looking for someone early in their sales career (1–3 years experience) who is:

✔ Comfortable on the phone

✔ Coachable and open to feedback

✔ Organized and disciplined

✔ Competitive and motivated by performance

✔ Resilient — you don’t take rejection personally

You do NOT need NDT experience, although candidates with some knowledge of the industry are preferred.More importantly, you DO need outbound experience.

• Trades
• Construction
• Manufacturing
• Field service businesses
• Blue-collar operators

This is not a “spray and pray email” job.It’s structured, high-activity outbound with real conversations.

What You’ll Get

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
