Finvari is a fast-growing SaaS startup transforming the way construction companies handle payments. Our mission is to eliminate manual, repetitive payment tasks, empowering construction leaders to focus on building the infrastructure of tomorrow. From field employees to the C-Suite, our customer-centric software streamlines processes, improves efficiency, and drives innovation across the industry.

We're a close-knit, experienced team with a track record of building and scaling successful software companies—some of which have even gone public. At Finvari, innovation, creativity, and customer focus are at the heart of what we do. We're looking for team members who share our passion for problem-solving and want to make a direct impact. Our culture is collaborative, autonomous, and customer-obsessed.

About the Role:

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building pipeline for Finvari’s sales team. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers and play a critical role in driving revenue growth. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound prospecting and wants to develop core sales skills in a high-growth fintech environment.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and Sales Team on prospecting, lead generation, and qualification to support the broader sales cycle.

This is a hybrid role that allows for remote work flexibility. Once a week, we get together for in-person team collaboration and a team lunch in our Seattle office.

Responsibilities:

Prospect into a defined territory through outbound efforts including calls, emails, and social outreach

Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers within construction companies

Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and website inquiries

Conduct initial discovery to understand business needs, workflows, and potential fit

Schedule qualified meetings for Sales Representatives and ensure smooth handoff

Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline data in our CRM (HubSpot)

Execute high-volume outreach while maintaining thoughtful, personalized messaging

Partner with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness

Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation targets

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience in a Sales Development, or similar outbound sales role within SaaS or a technology company

Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Proven ability to execute outbound prospecting and operate in a high-activity environment

Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft, etc.)

Familiarity with prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Highly coachable, resilient, and motivated to improve in a fast-paced startup environment

The On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $85,000 with uncapped commission potential.

Benefits include:

100% premium coverage for employee health insurance premiums and partial coverage for dependents.

Health Savings Account with a company contribution

Flexible Spending Account Options: Health Care and Dependent Care

Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

11 paid company holidays plus generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy

Plus stock options so that you can participate in the company’s success!
