Qorvo is building a dedicated growth focused sales team to diversify its customer base. As part of this initiative Qorvo is seeking a results-driven and energetic Growth Expansion Manager (GEM) to join our Americas sales team. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth from non-Core and emerging accounts, developing new customers and applications, and building the pipeline that fuels future Core accounts.
The role is focused on uncovering new opportunities, attacking new growth vectors and systematically expanding Qorvoâs footprint across the long tail of customers. The GEM operates across a broad territory and customer base, leads sales execution directly, through sales reps, business units and channel partners. Success is by measured by regionâs growth, with specific focus on new customers, opportunities and development of tomorrowâs Core accounts, not just maintaining an existing base business.
The role requires speed of action, hunger to win and grow, complete ownership mentality, and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of urgency, complete ownership mentality exceptional sales discipline and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver results.
This is a remote role that can be based in CA, WA, OR, or CO.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional growth and diversification:
Find new customers/ opportunities, qualify, pursue and win and grow regional revenue
Develop and implement a regional plan with a strategy to win and grow the overall region and meet revenue and growth targets
Work with local sales reps and channel partners to expand regional sales coverage and win business
Hold regular sales rep reviews, measure their performance against key metrics and work with them to drive sales success
Train and enable the sales reps and channel partners to sell Qorvo products, grow their funnel and secure sales for Qorvo
Build a healthy and diversified sales funnel and follow a disciplined sales process to move opportunities to close
Negotiate deals and establish commercial arrangements
Engage in technical discussions to understand customer requirements, qualify opportunity, promote Qorvo products and involve appropriate Qorvo Business Units (BU) team. Be the point person for all new and existing customers in the region and drive the sales engagement.
Work with BU engineering and factory operations to address customer needs. Present region and accountâs sales strategy and drive internal resources to win
Be the voice of the customer from the field to influence product roadmaps and business strategy
Sales management and reporting
Develop, maintain and execute Regional Sales Plan, Account Plans, Customer Visit Reports (CVR) and Sales Call Plans (SCP)
Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce (SFDC) for all customers and opportunities, and track performance against the sales targets
Opportunity management: Regularly maintain SFDC records of all opportunities, close dates, next steps and drive actions to secure the design win and revenue
Reporting: Provide monthly / regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth. Share insights with BUs and help build the overall sales strategy
Required Qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field
8+ years of professional experience (or an equivalent amount of education and experience), including successful B2B sales experience with a demonstrated track record of driving new business growth
Proven experience managing and collaborating with direct sales representatives and channel partners to achieve revenue objectives
Strong sales execution fundamentals, including opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting
Ability to effectively manage multiple accounts and complex opportunities in a fastâpaced, dynamic environment
Clear, concise, and persuasive communicator with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders at all levels
Willingness and ability to travel within the region to meet with customers, sales representatives, and channel partners (approximately 30â50%)
Disciplined approach to sales execution, with resilience and persistence in overcoming obstacles and setbacks
Strategic, longâterm mindset with the ability to develop and execute plans that drive sustainable, commercially productive business growth beyond transactional sales
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field
Sales experience within the RF and Microwave industry

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $156,800- $203,900, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
