About the Position The Solution Architect is responsible for managing client projects through and through. They are accountable for providing support and excellent customer service in collaboration with team members, while meeting billable goals. The Solution Architect ensures the ERP architecture and design is efficient, secure, and cost-effective to best achieve client-defined results. This individual will also serve as subject matter advisor or delivery lead throughout the duration of the project lifecycle. • Provide consulting services to advise on best practices to use and implement best ERP solution for the client • Design, develop and deploy solutions and applications that help clients optimize the value they derive from their accounting and financial strategies • Perform maintenance and administrative tasks in both production and non-production environment • Manage and assist clients through proactive contact with prompt resolutions • Key point of contact for ERP implementations, upgrades and support, from kick off meeting/requirements gathering to testing, go-live and support • Analyze impact of specific requirements on the platform and identify the optimum way to migrate to the new platform – both functionality and data • Identify opportunities to improve performance and proactively challenge system usage to maximize return on investment • Ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction through project sign-off and survey follow up • Check deliverables of vendor partners to make sure they are fit-for-purpose and guide and coach teams as necessary • Build and maintain client relationships with business and technology stakeholders • Develop and test detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes • Follow set company processes, guidelines and framework • Act as subject matter expert providing best-practice guidance on financial business processes and implementation approaches • Participate in sales and marketing activities as needed • Maintain confidentiality with external client information as well as internal employee and firm information • Other duties as assigned This position prefers a candidate with a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or another related field. 3+ years’ experience working within enterprise resource planning and/or professional services firm.
