Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing dental insurance claims, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining precise medical records. This role requires a strong understanding of dental coding systems, medical terminology, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. The Dental Biller will play a vital role in streamlining the billing process and supporting the financial health of our practice. Candidates should possess excellent organizational skills and a thorough knowledge of medical billing procedures.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit dental insurance claims , CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards
• Review and resolve claim denials through follow-up with insurance companies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and billing documentation within EMR/EHR systems
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure proper documentation of procedures and diagnoses
• Manage accounts receivable by following up on outstanding balances and processing payments
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and billing guidelines
• Assist in training new staff on billing procedures and system usage as needed

Experience
• Proven experience in dental billing
• Familiarity with dental-specific coding such as DRG, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding systems
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical coding practices
• Prior experience in medical collections and insurance claim processing is advantageous
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to medical billing and coding standards
