Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing dental insurance claims, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining precise medical records. Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit dental insurance claims , CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards
• Review and resolve claim denials through follow-up with insurance companies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and billing documentation within EMR/EHR systems
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure proper documentation of procedures and diagnoses
• Manage accounts receivable by following up on outstanding balances and processing payments
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and billing guidelines
• Assist in training new staff on billing procedures and system usage as needed
Experience
• Proven experience in dental billing
• Familiarity with dental-specific coding such as DRG, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding systems
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical coding practices
• Prior experience in medical collections and insurance claim processing is advantageous
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to medical billing and coding standards
