Compensation & Benefits:
? Base Salary: $80,000.00 + Profit Sharing, with anticipated first-year earnings of $100,000.00+

Position Overview: The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the overall success of the production department, ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and execution of business unit functions to meet revenue targets while fostering a high-performance team culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the roofing industry, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
? Operational & Financial Oversight:
? Assume full responsibility for profit and loss activities, ensuring fiscal responsibility and profitability.
? Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve business growth and revenue objectives.
? Control department expenditures while maintaining high service standards.
? Analyze and forecast sales growth, market trends, and profitability.
? Business Development & Market Positioning:
? Actively seek and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
? Stay up to date with industry regulations, economic trends, and competitive market dynamics.
? Collaborate with ownership to develop and execute effective marketing plans.
? Team Leadership & Development:
? Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
? Conduct regular meetings with department leaders to maintain operational cohesion and performance tracking.
? Perform ride-alongs with field staff to assess performance and customer service quality.
? Operational & Process Management:
? Establish and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures to optimize workflow efficiency.
? Monitor daily job distribution, technician scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain optimal productivity.
? Review and approve invoices, job costing, and operational expenses.
? Maintain operational metrics such as call tracking, daily sales, technician performance, and vehicle maintenance.
? Customer Satisfaction & Quality Assurance:
? Ensure customer issues are resolved promptly and efficiently to maintain high satisfaction ratings.
? Oversee warranty paperwork processing and field inspections to uphold company standards.
? Compliance & Safety:
? Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations and minimize legal liabilities.
? Manage all job permitting and ensure advertising compliance with corporate policies.
? Conduct safety meetings and enforce workplace safety procedures.
Required Experience & Skills:
? Industry Expertise: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the roofing industry, specializing in diagnosing leaks, executing repairs, and overseeing re-roofing projects in both residential and light commercial settings.
? Supervisory Experience: At least 5 years in a managerial role within the home services industry, preferably in roofing or general construction.
? Proven Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed revenue goals.
? Financial & Operational Knowledge: Experience in job costing, P&L analysis, budgeting, and operational forecasting.
? Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of employment and business laws applicable to the local market.
? Team Building & Leadership: Track record of recruiting, training, and developing high-performance teams.
? Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); AccuLynx experience preferred.
? Licensing & Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean record; ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Education & Certifications:
? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
? EPA Certification (preferred but not required).
? CCC Roofing License (preferred but not required).
