About Amazon Robotics - Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Team

The MSP team is at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of mechatronics and packaging solutions that transform the way we live and work. Our primary goal is to design and deliver robust products that seamlessly integrate into the Amazon Fulfillment network. We achieve this by fostering strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across various departments, including Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, and WW Design.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager - Requirements, Test Plans & Reports to lead our QA efforts. As a leader in this role, you will be responsible for converting functional requirements into test plans for our QA Manual Testing team to execute and summarizing learning in Validation Test reports. You will partner with product teams to understand functional requirements, internal customers to ensure requirements meet their needs, and the QA Manual Testing team to provide them with test plans to execute.

Key Responsibilities:


Analyze functional specifications and ensure they meet customer requirements
Decompose specifications into lower-level requirements that are "testable"
Write test plans to validate end-to-end solutions using statistical analysis
Analyze test results using data software
Summarize output in test reports, including Discrepancy Reports, Configuration Documentation, Functional Test Log, Fault Response Log, Root Cause Analysis Reports, and Metric Validation Reports
Communicate quality standards and parameters to product teams, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams
Participate in product testing and connect with internal customers to review client, customer, and user feedback
Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:


5+ years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or a related field, with a focus on complex systems integration and validation
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong analytical skills combined with business understanding to translate functional requirements into testable plans
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including product teams, internal customers, and QA Manual Testing teams
Experience with statistical analysis and data software to analyze test results
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities


Preferred Qualifications:


Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience with robotics and mechatronics, including industrial hardware and control machines
Familiarity with Amazon Fulfillment network and its operations
Certifications in quality assurance or testing, such as ASQ or ISTQB
