We are not just building robots; we are creating the strategically crucial components for autonomous, intelligent agents of the future.The Role:As our Robotics Integration Specialist, you are presented with a unique challenge: to take full ownership of robotic cells under our R&D domain. You will be the hands-on lead for building, wiring, testing, and maintaining our lab based robotic systems, ensuring they are ready for development, experimentation, and delivery.This is not a desk bound role. You will spend your time where the work happens, in the lab, on the bench, and beside robotic cells. You will coordinate build activities, manage the lab cell calendar, support remote robotics and AI engineering work, and ensure every R&D cell is fully functional.You will also lead the setup and preparation of each robotic cell prior to customer delivery and support internal QA efforts.If you’re mechanically and electrically capable, highly organised, and excited to work at the heart of a fast-moving robotics team, we want to hear from you.What You’ll Do:Own the build, wiring, and integration of all robotic cells in the officeOrganise and coordinate in-office and remote work on the robot cellsTest and validate new peripherals, sensors, and hardware subsystemsSupport remote engineers with hands-on tasks, diagnostics, and testingSet up and prepare each robotic cell before it is shipped to a customerSupport QA activities and internal quality checks prior to deploymentMaintain tooling, test rigs, safety infrastructure, and key workshop resourcesEnsure every R&D cell is documented, functional, and ready for use at all timesWho You Are:Mechanically and electrically capable, with a strong hands-on background5+ years experience in robotics, automation, hardware development, or similar fieldsKnowledge of Python, Linux and ROSOrganise and coordinate in-office and remote work on the robot cellsHighly organised and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solvingComfortable working independently and managing multiple work streamsEffective communicator who collaborates well with local and remote teamsMotivated by impact and capable of moving fast in dynamic environmentsGood to Have:Experience with control panels, wiring standards, electrical plansFamiliarity with pneumatics, industrial actuators, or end-of-arm toolingBackground in robotic cell integration or low-volume hardware prototypingExperience managing lab environments, test stations, or equipment inventoriesComfort with basic CAD, schematics, and mechanical assembly documentationSkilled at moving robots with teach pendants, controlling computers in terminal.Why Sunrise Robotics?Play a pivotal role in defining the future of intelligent robotics and manufacturing.Be part of a company that is at the forefront of technological innovation, with a clear mission and vision.Competitive compensation, including equity, and a work environment that values innovation, learning, and excellence.Originally posted on Himalayas
