RN - Clinic - Family Practice (Remote & La Jolla) - Scripps Health - Oceanside, CA - San Diego County, CA - work from home job Company: Scripps Health Job description: This position is full time working 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday with Saturdays as needed. Located both on site at Scripps Corporate Offices (La Jolla) and remote. You will train full time hours (40 hours per week) on site. After training, this position requires working on site for 1 week followed by 4 weeks of remote work. The Primary Care RN assists patients, staff, and physicians as needed to maintain a high level of efficiency of operations and customer service while providing quality care to the designated patient population. Assist with the leadership of the clinical and clerical staff. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to phone triage as well as triaging patients who present to the clinic, assisting with phone calls and portal messages, documentation in EMR (electronic medical record), performing nursing tasks within scope of practice. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Using a care team approach, you will support Primary Care and work a hybrid of onsite and remote to assist the team as needed. As RN, you are expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance and be able to delegate tasks appropriately. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.
