- Review inquiries related to ICD-10CM/PCS and HCPCS/CPT code assignment
- Address issues impacting the revenue cycle or data analytics
- Collaborate with the pre-bill edit team to resolve issues and communicate necessary changes
- Ensure compliance with coding conventions, guidelines, and regulations
- Utilize MS-Excel for data analysis and reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred
- AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) required
- 2 years of hands-on ICD-10CM/PCS experience
- Experience using MS-Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AHIMA approved ICD-10CM/PCS trainer
- Proficiency in encoder products
- Knowledge of National and Local Coverage Determinations
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work needs
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
