WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications) Retirement Benefit Specialist:$25-$26/hr, plus annual bonus opportunity. Senior Retirement Benefit Specialist:$29-$30/hr plus annual bonus opportunity. 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Serve as the primary contact for internal and external client communications related to assigned annuity contracts across multiple product lines, ensuring timely and accurate management. Analyze, research, and resolve issues in annuity administration, including setup, lump sum payments, death processing, overpayment recovery, and compliance concerns. Interpret and apply annuity certificate provisions for early retirement, disability, and death benefits, working with underwriting and compliance teams to address complex issues. Manage updates to the Comprehensive Pension Administration System (COMPAS) and related systems to meet client expectations, including processing initial checks and updating financial information. Research and set up federal and state income tax reporting information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Proven customer service experience including phone queue skills, with excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meet stringent deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team. Strong expertise in the insurance industry. High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to demonstrate creativity, diplomacy, and initiative in decision-making. Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico. PREFERRED: Previous annuity experience, and understanding of federal, state, and business regulations impacting annuity administration.
