As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence for guests and staff. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail mall environment. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shopping center and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related issues. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed. * Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe activities and assist with maintaining an orderly environment. * Support emergency response activities as directed, including providing information and guidance to tenants, visitors, and staff. * Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies. * Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required by site-specific procedures. * Maintain a professional presence while interacting with the public and providing assistance as needed within the mall location. Minimum Requirements: * At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. * CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. * A Guard Card and/or related license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
