Retail Space Planner

At IKEA, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Retail Space Planner to join our team. As a Retail Space Planner, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing our retail spaces to create a seamless and inviting shopping experience for our customers. We are seeking someone with a passion for interior design, strong analytical skills, and the ability to think outside the box. Design and optimize retail spaces in accordance with IKEA's brand standards and guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to develop innovative and practical solutions for retail space layout and design.
Use analytical skills to analyze customer flow and shopping patterns to inform space planning decisions.
Ensure that all retail spaces are visually appealing and inviting for customers.
Develop and maintain floor plans, store layouts, and visual merchandising guidelines.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in retail space planning and design.
Communicate and present space plans and designs to stakeholders, including store managers and executives.
Conduct regular store visits to assess the effectiveness of current space plans and make necessary adjustments.
Work closely with the buying and merchandising teams to understand product offerings and create effective displays.
Collaborate with the construction and store design teams to ensure a smooth execution of space plans.
Monitor and track key performance indicators related to retail space planning, such as sales and customer satisfaction.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize retail spaces for better customer experience and increased sales.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all space planning and design work.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to achieve common goals and objectives.
Adhere to all safety and security protocols while working in retail spaces.
