Job Summary of Retail Food Worker:
This role supports fresh food and grocery operations including departments such as deli, bakery, produce, dairy, meat, and dry goods. You ensure quality standards are met while providing exceptional customer service. From checking freshness to stocking shelves and preparing food, this position plays a key role in helping customers access healthy, fresh, and delicious food options daily.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Food Worker:
• Aid clients in locating and selecting fresh and packaged groceries.
• Keep a supply of high-caliber goods in the produce, deli, bakery, meat, and dairy categories.
• Manage shelf arrangements, rotate items, and monitor inventory to ensure freshness and display quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations when preparing and serving ready-to-eat dishes.
• Provide support for customer requests, such as customizing cake decorations or fulfilling unique deli orders.
• Adhere to store standards by regularly cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing allocated workspaces.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Food Worker:
• Entry-level job opportunity inclusive of provided training.
