Job Title: Retail Financial AdvisorLocation: Nigeria (all across the country)Department: Business DevelopmentSupervisor Title: Unit Head & Head, Retail BusinessJob SummaryThe Retail Financial Advisor will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of family and general insurance products to both individual and corporate clients. The role involves building and managing client relationships, providing professional financial planning and insurance advisory services, and achieving assigned sales targets. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, confident, and passionate about helping clients make informed financial decisions while contributing to the organization’s overall business growth.Responsibilities:Market and promote a variety of insurance products (Family and General).Build, manage, and retain a portfolio of individual and corporate clients.Provide professional financial planning and insurance advisory services.Achieve assigned sales targets and support overall team performance.Proactively follow up on leads and develop lasting client relationships.Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance sales and advisory skills.Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in all activities.Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in handling company-related information, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and internal policies.Promptly report any suspected data breaches or unauthorized access to the appropriate company authority.Execute any other duties and tasks that may be designated or assigned by the Company.To provide supports to your manager as may be required towards Management and staff.QualificationEducation: Minimum of OND/NCE; HND/B.Sc. is an added advantage.Experience: Experience in insurance or sales is an added advantage.BenefitsMonthly StipendAttractive commission structure and performance-based bonuses.Training and continuous professional development.Career progression opportunities within the agency structure.Recognition, awards, and incentive programs for outstanding performance.Skills and Competencies:Basic understanding of Takaful principles and insurance underwriting.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong passion for sales and financial advisory services.Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven personalityProficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance software.KPIs and Performance Metrics:1. Client Retention Rate: Percentage of existing clients retained and renewed.4. Lead Conversion Rate: Ratio of leads converted into successful policy sales.5.
