The Role We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager (SEM) to lead one or more full-stack teams (Backend, Web, iOS, Android) delivering high-impact features and systems at global scale. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical acumen with strategic leadership, thrives in a high-growth B2C environment, and has experience working with globally distributed teams. What You'll Be Doing Drive technical strategy and execution across complex, full-stack initiatives (mobile, web, backend) in the Consumer, Rider, Restaurant, New Verticals, Delivery, Payment or Platform domains. Manage and mentor a diverse team of engineers and engineering managers, fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture. Design and deliver highly scalable, resilient systems that serve millions of users globally. Ensure engineering and operational excellence across your teams, championing best practices in architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability, and cloud infrastructure. Set and maintain a high bar for software quality and delivery velocity. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, UX Design, Data Science, Analytics, ML, Program Management etc.) to define roadmaps and deliver measurable business outcomes. Lead hiring efforts and build diverse, world-class engineering teams. Provide technical oversight, participate in code reviews, and occasionally contribute hands-on to unblock critical paths. We’re Excited About You If You Have: Proven leadership experience as a senior engineering manager or above, including managing other managers. Demonstrated ability to turn engineering teams into high-performing units. Track record of delivering large-scale, technically complex B2C platforms (preferably in food, delivery, e-commerce, fintech, or marketplaces). Deep expertise in system design, architecture, and distributed systems. Hands-on coding proficiency and ability to conduct detailed code and architecture reviews. Tech stack experience preferred: Java/Golang, ReactJS/ReactNative, Kotlin/Swift, AWS Cloud . Comfort working in fast-paced, agile environments and across multiple time zones. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills. A strong understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks , with experience applying these technologies to real-world business use cases and developing AI-native software products.
