Job description: The opportunityDelaware North Sportservice is hiring a Retail Purchasing Manager to join our team at Target Field (Minnesota Twins) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Retail Purchasing Manager works closely with the Retail Manager on all product buys and managing vendor communication, analysis and development of multiple apparel and headwear lines. In addition to the responsibilities below, this individual will work closely with the Twins marketing department and partners to plan and execute retail strategies and initiatives through social media channels, in game features and in store display merchandising.PayMinimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $61,200 - $82,600 / yearIn addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?

Partner with the Retail Manager and the Twins on vendor selection, category planning, and marketing strategy for licensed apparel, headwear, and novelty lines
Work closely with the Retail Manager throughout the buying process, including reviewing lines, research, analysis, assortment building, and purchase order creation
Identify current trends and customer preferences, and execute unique retail collaborations and partnerships to expand the fanbase and differentiate the Twins
Collaborate with partners on custom designs and logo decoration, adhering to Major League Baseball licensing guidelines, and support assortment replenishment through strategic analysis and vendor communication
Engage with cross-departmental teams, analyze reporting and trends for strategic decisions, adhere to inventory directives, create compelling product displays, and travel to trade shows and vendor meetings
More about you

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2 years of retail purchasing experience with at least 1 year of retail merchandising experience preferred
Sports merchandise experience is a plus
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point; previous retail system knowledge is a plus
Understanding of social media channels, content, and the internet
