To support this growth, we are hiring a Residential Credit Associate to help scale Arrived’s investment platform.
What You’ll Do
Arrived is seeking a credit associate to support the underwriting, execution, and portfolio management of residential credit investments.
You will work closely with Arrived’s Investment, Credit, Legal, and Asset Management teams across the full lifecycle of private credit investments, including:
Qualifying and monitoring origination partnersUnderwriting and pricing analysisInvestment committee preparationCollateral diligence and loan reviewTransaction management and closingPortfolio monitoring and risk assessment
Unlike traditional analyst roles focused solely on modeling or processing, this position provides exposure across the entire credit investment lifecycle and the systems that support a growing credit platform.
How You’ll Contribute
You will work cross-functionally across investment, diligence, legal, and operations teams to support Arrived’s residential credit investment activities.
Credit Investment Execution
Manage residential credit transactions from approval through closing by:
Coordinating with originators, diligence providers, servicers, and counselManaging deal workflows, closing timelines, and documentationReviewing loan purchase agreements, servicing documents, and extensionsMaintaining transaction checklists and funding readiness
This role serves as a central orchestration point across investment, diligence, and legal teams to ensure efficient capital deployment.
Loan Diligence & Collateral Review
Support diligence and collateral validation for residential loan acquisitions:
Managing third-party diligence providers performing loan-level reviewsReviewing inventory and exception reports with custodiansCoordinating with originators to resolve collateral exceptionsIdentifying risks and ensuring loan files meet Arrived’s investment standards prior to closing
Investment & Underwriting Support
Assist the investment team in evaluating residential credit opportunities:
Supporting underwriting of loan structures, leverage levels, borrower profiles, and collateralPreparing internal deal summaries and investment memosSupporting pricing analysis and capital allocation decisionsMaintaining pipeline and investment tracking models
Portfolio Monitoring
Support monitoring and risk management of Arrived’s credit portfolio:
Tracking borrower performance and key loan milestonesMonitoring covenant compliance and extension requestsSupporting portfolio reporting and internal credit reviewsIdentifying emerging risks across the portfolio
Platform Development
Help build scalable infrastructure supporting Arrived’s credit platform:
Improving diligence workflows and operational processesSupporting loan tracking systems and portfolio analyticsAssisting with reporting and investment data infrastructure
You Might Be a Great Fit If You
Have great experience in real estate credit, private credit, structured finance, or mortgage financeHave experience working with loan-level collateral or mortgage-backed securitiesHave worked at a lender, credit fund, diligence firm, or investment platformDemonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and transaction management skillsAre detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple transactions simultaneouslyAre proficient in Excel and financial analysis toolsHave familiarity with loan documentation and collateral reviewCommunicate clearly in both written and verbal formats
