Bilingual (Spanish & English) Virtual Math and Algebra I Tutor
Job Summary:
Littera Education is seeking highly skilled and bilingual (English and Spanish) virtual tutors to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a virtual tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students across the United States, providing high-quality math and algebra support in a 1:1 to 1:3 setting. If you are passionate about education, have a strong background in math, and enjoy working with students, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Tutor students virtually in math and/or Algebra I, using provided lesson content materials.
Build strong relationships with students, supporting their understanding of math concepts.
Indicate your availability to tutor and commit to a schedule that allows for consistent sessions with students.
Complete curriculum reviews and provide high-quality tutoring support.
Utilize online virtual tools and technology to deliver sessions.
Requirements:
Relevant experience working with school-age learners.
Ability to effectively tutor math in both Spanish and English.
Confident knowledge of algebra I, algebra II, geometry, or pre-algebra.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High comfort level with online virtual tools and technology.
Desktop or Laptop using the Chrome browser, a video camera, and a reliable/stable internet connection.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but college students with 1+ years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Reside in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii and hold US citizenship.
