This individual will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) in the cerebrovascular lab.Job duties include: • conducting experiments under supervision of the PI (animal care and surgeries) • writing and revising IACUC and IRB protocols • ordering lab supplies and maintaining the daily functions of the lab • assist undergraduate, graduate and medical students in their research (qPCR, RNA-sequencing, cell culture) Learn more: • Our benefits, where we prioritize your well-being and success to enhance every aspect of your life. • Being a part of the University at Buffalo community. Able to maintain records of an animal's condition. Ability to handle rodents properly and safely. • Minimally one year of experience with cerebrovascular research.• Laboratory experience in qPCR, cell culture and histology. • Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Physical DemandsSalary Range $35,000 - $38,000 AdditionalSalary InformationThe salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
