Responsibilities
The IRB Research Coordinator will review IRB studies, prepare presentations, trainings and coordinate meetings.
Job Summary :
• Coordinates activities for the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Responsibilities :
• Coordinates, documents and facilitates IRB meetings, reviews, and projects. Prepares IRB communications
and presentations. Maintains IRB files and databases.
• Prepares IRB-related training materials. Provides training, guidance and support to staff in connection
with the preparation, submission and monitoring of projects.
• Assists with the development, implementation and monitoring of IRB policies, procedures and standards.
• Collaborates to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Complexity of Work :
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal
supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Requirements
Education :
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
