The Video Editor will craft engaging videos designed for streaming and social audiences, requiring strong editorial judgment and the ability to meet fast deadlines.ResponsibilitiesEdit short-form news videos (15–60 seconds) for OTT, mobile, and social platformsShape stories with strong pacing, emotional clarity, and journalistic integrityCut dialogue, VO, b-roll, stock, and motion elements into polished final piecesApply basic color correction, audio leveling, and sound designAdd captions, supers, and on-screen text following brand standardsVersion edits for multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)Meet fast turnaround deadlines while maintaining qualityCollaborate closely with producers, writers, and motion designersSkillsAdobe Premiere Pro (required)Strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgmentAbility to work quickly without sacrificing qualityComfortable receiving feedback and iterating fastHighly organized with excellent time managementReliable, deadline-driven, and detail-orientedMust have access to a reliable computer and internet connection capable of supporting professional video editing workflows; Streamlly provides required softwareCandidates must be located in Florida or CaliforniaAfter Effects (basic motion and text animation a plus)Experience editing movie trailers, short films, or cinematic contentFamiliarity with OTT and ad-safe content standardsAbility to work with strict guidelines and repeatable formatsBasic sound design or music editing skillsBenefitsHealth and dental insuranceLife insurance401(k) retirement planCompany OverviewStreamlly is a human storytelling network that produces short news films for today’s screens.
