[Remote] Vice President, Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance

They are seeking a Vice President, Head of Drug Safety to lead, scale, and oversee the global pharmacovigilance function, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and collaborating with various teams. Responsibilities • Build and lead the global Drug Safety organization • Oversee all aspects of pharmacovigilance, including safety strategy, case processing, signal detection, and risk management • Provide medical review and benefit–risk assessments across the product lifecycle • Serve as the company’s safety expert in interactions with regulatory authorities • Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial teams • Ensure full compliance with global safety regulations and internal SOPs Skills • Proven track record in global pharmacovigilance leadership roles across both development and post-marketing • Minimum 2+ years in an executive-level role (Exec Director, VP, SVP/Head of DSPV) • People management experience required, including building and developing high-performing teams • Experience working within a small sponsor biotech environment required • Deep understanding of medical safety and PV operations • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on biotech environment • Experience leading safety strategy in rare disease, neurology, or endocrine therapeutic areas is a plus Company Overview • Life Sciences Affects Us All.It was founded in 2009, and is headquartered in London, England, GBR, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
