Your key responsibilities will include: * Monitoring the Cumeberland Grounds complex and responding to any unexpected events * Conducting security investigations and documenting incidents * Interviewing witnesses and victims of incidents * Responding to crisis situations and providing support to affected parties * Performing security checks and patrols of the Cumeberland Grounds and other designated areas * Escorting partners and guests to designated parking areas * Performing other duties as assigned Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., security, law enforcement, criminology) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to read and write to complete reports and record-keeping tasks * Physical ability to perform security checks and respond to emergency situations * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: * Previous experience in security or law enforcement * Knowledge of security protocols and procedures * Familiarity with security software and technology * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Work Environment As a remote security officer, you will work from home with occasional on-site visits to the Cumeberland Grounds complex.
