Responsibilities:
Ā Deliver engaging live instruction that is accessible and tailored to the unique needs of visually impaired students, fostering an inclusive and supportive online learning environment.
Ā Manage and coordinate documentation related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievements.
Ā Collaborate with families and specialists to develop and implement effective strategies that enhance student learning and promote overall well-being in a remote setting.
Ā Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress, adapting instructional methods and supports as needed to ensure all students thrive.
Ā Utilize creative problem-solving skills to provide effective support and adapt to diverse challenges while working with visually impaired students in a remote environment.
Qualifications:
Ā Must meet all state requirements as a teacher for visually impaired students in state of residence as well as Massachusetts.
Ā Ability to obtain professional liability insurance; this is a 1099 position
Ā Must pass tech screening
Ā 2 years of school experience preferred
