[Remote] Training Specialist

This role involves designing, organizing, and managing comprehensive training programs to enhance the technical competence of teams and ensure effective adoption of best practices.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Product owners, managers from early-stage release kick-off discussions and stay ahead of feature evolutionIdentify skill and capability gaps and build a proactive technology learning roadmap for customer-facing teams (Professional Services, Support, Technical Sales)Translate complex technical product features into engaging, easy-to-understand educational content, including product demos, FAQsDevelop technical training materials, including e-learning modules, manuals, slide decks, and virtual training sessionsPlan and execute timely internal technology training to ensure readiness of customer facing teams before every product version launchOrganize "train-the-trainer" sessions with subject matter experts to scale technical knowledgeFacilitate regular internal training workshops (remote) to maintain high technical proficiencyUpdate customer facing training documents with new product features and functionalityMonitor and evaluate training program effectiveness, utilizing metrics and employee feedback to make continuous improvementsMaintain accurate records of training participation and completion ratesProduce video training modules for Incognito products using historical training deliveriesSkillsPost-Secondary Education in education, Instructional Design, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience1-2 years in technical training, product education, or instructional design, preferably within technical environmentExcellent communication, facilitation, and organization skillsProven ability to learn and demonstrate complex technical products, platforms, or systemsExperience with Linux command lineExcellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience in creating interactive eLearning content and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)Experience with screen capture/video editing software, AI-enabled training video creation software such as Arcade or Camtasia or Articulate StorylineSelf-starter with a strong ability to work independently within virtual teams, across multiple time zonesPositive attitude and strong work ethicExcellent command, highly proficient in spoken and written EnglishDesire to complete the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD®) certificationPast experience in Udemy or other learning management platformsPrior experience working with product, professional services, support, marketing, sales and documentation teamsProfessional working proficiency in spoken and written SpanishCompany OverviewTomia is the merger of Telarix and Starhome Mach and offers transformative connectivity solutions to service providers worldwide.
