[Remote] Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) Architect – Presales & Advisory
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Saicon is seeking a seasoned Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) Architect to provide part-time presales support and strategic testing advisory services. This role is critical in shaping testing strategies and solution architectures for enterprise clients, primarily in the US market, while collaborating with System Integrators and internal delivery teams.
Responsibilities
• Lead testing solution design for pre-sales pursuits, including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and client presentations
• Define end-to-end testing strategies (functional, automation, performance, security, UAT, regression)
• Design TCoE operating models, governance frameworks, and maturity roadmaps
• Estimate effort, staffing models, timelines, and cost structures for testing engagements
• Partner with sales, account teams, and delivery leadership to position testing as a strategic value driver
• Act as a trusted advisor to US enterprise clients and System Integrators
• Conduct client discovery workshops to assess current testing maturity and pain points
• Collaborating with SI partners on integrated delivery models, tooling alignment, and governance
• Support client-facing discussions on quality transformation and test modernization
• Define test automation strategies across UI, API, and backend layers
• Recommend and rationalize testing tools and platforms (commercial and open source)
• Establish KPIs, quality metrics, and reporting dashboards
• Advice on shift-left, CI/CD integration, DevOps, and Agile/SAFe testing practices
• Provide architectural oversight during initial phases of engagement
• Review test strategies, automation frameworks, and execution plans
• Mentor testing leads and architects within delivery teams
• Support transition from presales to delivery with minimal friction
Skills
• 15+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or QA Transformation
• Proven experience as a TCoE Architect or Test Practice Lead
• Strong background working with System Integrators (Tier-1 / Tier-2) and enterprise clients
• Extensive experience supporting US-based clients (communication, delivery, governance)
• Hands-on knowledge of: Test strategy & test governance
• Hands-on knowledge of: Test automation frameworks & tools
• Hands-on knowledge of: Agile, DevOps, CI/CD testing models
• Hands-on knowledge of: Enterprise-scale delivery programs
• Strong presales experience, including: RFP responses
• Strong presales experience, including: Solution design
• Strong presales experience, including: Client presentations & workshops
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience setting up global or hybrid TCoEs (onshore/offshore)
• Exposure to regulated industries (Financial Services, Healthcare, Public Sector, Utilities, etc.)
• Familiarity with modern test platforms (e.g., Tricentis, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JMeter, Postman, etc.)
• Experience defining Testing as a Service (TaaS) or managed testing offerings
• Prior consulting or SI leadership experience
