[Remote] Technical Project Manager/Software Development (Healthcare)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the DOL Office of Workers' Compensation Programs. This role involves managing large and complex IT modernization and migration projects, ensuring timely execution and completion of assigned projects.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Provides project management (PM) support technical PMO to the DAO Branch of Medical Standards and Operations (BMSO)
ā¢ Leads assigned BMSO projects, coordinating and overseeing all aspects through completion, including creating technical analyses and related documentation, process flows, review of Contractor-submitted technical deliverables, and recommendations to the OWCP PMO regarding solutions to technical issues
ā¢ Establishes deadlines for assigned projects, sets tasks, and monitors and summarizes progress through interfacing with all BMSO and PMO resources
ā¢ Support the Workers' Compensation Medical Bill Processing (WCMBP) contract Project Manager and BMSO PMO with schedule management, make recommendations and advise the WCMBP Project Manager and BMSO PMO of all management, planning, and technical issues, make recommendations to streamline procedures, and identify potential risks and possible mitigations
ā¢ Prepares project status reports for DAO management upon request
ā¢ Work concurrently with multiple internal and external business and IT stakeholder groups ā both Government and Contractor
ā¢ All other duties as assigned
Skills
ā¢ Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical disciplines
ā¢ Minimum of seven years experience with workers' compensation bill processing or a related field
ā¢ Minimum of eight years of project management experience on managing large and complex IT modernization and migration projects, specifically large software/system development
ā¢ Experience with analyzing, defining, and documenting business and system requirements
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ā¢ Knowledgeable in managing large IT projects involving multiple external and internal integration and dependency points
ā¢ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
ā¢ Five years experience in Information Systems, Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical disciplines
ā¢ Direct or indirect experience with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
