Key Duties
Provide individualized remote tutoring sessions across a variety of subjects, including:
K-12 Academic Tutoring
Mathematics: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Engineering Principles.
Science: General Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology.
English: Literature, Grammar, Writing.
History: U.S. History, Global History, Philosophy.
Arts: Visual Arts, Music Theory, and more.
College Course Tutoring.
College Prep Tutoring: SAT, ACT, Application Support.
Graduate School Prep Tutoring: GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, Application Support.
Adult School Training: Professional skills, certifications, and technical training.
Additional Key Duties:
Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning styles and academic goals.
Communicate effectively with students to assess understanding and track progress.
Support students with homework, test preparation, projects, and academic challenges.
Foster a positive and engaging virtual learning environment.
Stay updated on educational best practices and incorporate special education strategies as needed.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals (as applicable) to maximize student success.
Qualifications
Proven experience tutoring or teaching in virtual settings (preferred).
Familiarity with special education practices (a plus).
Proficiency in one or more specialized areas, such as college test prep, graduate school prep, or professional certifications (a plus).
Strong communication skills to engage and motivate students remotely.
Ability to create effective lesson plans tailored to individual needs.
Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
A passion for education and helping learners succeed academically, holistically, and professionally.

2-3 Minutes: A brief introduction highlighting your teaching/tutoring experience and approach.
7-10 Minutes: A demonstration of your teaching style, tailored to a hypothetical student.
Submit a Lesson Plan: Share the lesson plan you used for your sample lesson. Highlight how you adapt content to different learning styles.
Complete a Virtual Interview:
Duration: 20-30 minutes.
Dress Code: Please dress professionally for the virtual interview, as you would for a tutoring session. Professional attire includes clothing that is neat, clean, and respectful of diverse cultural and individual expressions.
Discussion Points:
