[Remote] Tax Advisory Manager (100% Remote)

They are seeking a client-facing professional to handle tax filings and provide strategic tax planning for small and medium-sized businesses while mentoring a team of tax accountants.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Handle a range of tax filings across corporate, individual, and partnership entities at federal and state levels for small and medium-sized businesses (Giving you the opportunity to speak directly with their decision makers!)
ā¢ Stay current with industry updates and actively pursue professional development opportunities
ā¢ Conduct thorough research on tax legislation, solving complex problems and advising clients on strategic tax planning
ā¢ Oversee a small team of Tax accountants; serving as both a mentor and day-to-day advisor on tax pronouncements / research areas
ā¢ Collaborate closely with clients to gather information and ensure timely submissions, while maintaining clear communication within the team
Skills
ā¢ 6+ years of applicable public Accounting/Tax experience with SMB Tax experience
ā¢ CPA completed or In-progress
ā¢ Ability to be successful in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
ā¢ Interest in current technology and market strategies
ā¢ Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and being collaborative with your team
