[Remote] Strategic Customer Research Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HUMAN is looking for a Research Analyst to join their Research team, focusing on threat intelligence and detection for trusted platforms. In this role, you will lead research initiatives for major customer accounts, uncover insights, and help improve product defenses against emerging threats.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead research initiatives for 1ā3 of our largest customer accounts, delivering specialized insight reports into threats and data quality
ā¢ Identify top customer concerns and recurring issues, then feed them back to improve our product systematically
ā¢ Serve as the Research/Detection team representative in business reviews and customer calls, presenting complex analysis clearly to non-technical audiences
ā¢ Collaborate with Customer Success Engineering to deliver new customer-facing features
ā¢ Spot impactful detection leads and help drive faster mitigation of emerging threats in HUMAN products
ā¢ Develop stop-gap defenses for novel threats through analyses, models, algorithms, and dashboards
ā¢ Build complex queries and reports (sub-queries, temp tables, complex joins, variables) to analyze historical data
ā¢ Improve existing techniques and tooling to reduce time-to-detection and increase operational efficiency
ā¢ Document models, algorithms, and analyses to ensure visibility, transparency, and auditability of work
Skills
ā¢ You have a good sense of ownership which drives you to find ways to do things better, faster, and leaner; you hold yourself accountable for the quality and accuracy of your work
ā¢ You excel at presenting complex data in a clear and engaging manner for non-technical audiences
ā¢ You are enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer support and have direct experience working with strategic clients
ā¢ You look to find new and innovative ways to tackle complex problems through meticulous experimentation and application of emerging technologies
ā¢ You are open and transparent and work in tight collaboration with other team members on data projects and cross-departmentally
ā¢ Proficiency in SQL
ā¢ Python experience or exposure, such as usage of Jupyter notebooks, strongly preferred
ā¢ AdTech experience or exposure preferred, such as knowledge of the ORTB programmatic ecosystem and protocols, knowledge of DSP vs. SSP relationships, and the basics of how ads are served
ā¢ Experience working with multi TB to PB data sets in cloud databases preferred
