Brown & Brown Absence Services Group is seeking an SSDI Advocate Liaison to provide compassionate assistance to individuals seeking Social Security disability benefits. The role involves educating clients, managing claims, and building trusting relationships to support clients through their application process.ResponsibilitiesAssist our team of Client Advocates while gaining hands-on experience handling client calls, answering their questions, and helping manage SSDI claimsBuild trust with clients, providing the expertise and support they needComplete applications and other key claim documents thoroughly and comprehensivelySupport our client advocacy team by building positive, trusting relationshipsRegularly interface with clients, colleagues, & government agencies to drive successful claim outcomes and create a positive client experienceHandle key steps throughout the duration of a claim - including, but not limited to: inbound/outbound transactional calls, reviewing claim files, and communicating closely with the assigned Client AdvocateEffectively manage an assigned phone queue & multi-taskSkillsListen with compassion & empathyProvide patient, passionate customer service on every client call, ensuring clients feel well-informed while moving through calls efficientlyBe sensitive to the various physical and mental health conditions clients may be experiencing when discussing their claim over the phoneComplete applications and other key claim documents thoroughly and comprehensivelySupport our client advocacy team by building positive, trusting relationshipsBe a confident decision-makerRegularly interface with clients, colleagues, & government agencies to drive successful claim outcomes and create a positive client experienceHandle key steps throughout the duration of a claim - including, but not limited to: inbound/outbound transactional calls, reviewing claim files, and communicating closely with the assigned Client AdvocateEffectively manage an assigned phone queue & multi-taskProven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretionStrong telephony skills, contact or call center experience a plus (inbound and outbound)Superb typing skills, data entry and accuracyBachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Human Services, Social Work, or related fieldHigh volume inbound telephony contact center experience1-2 years' experience in Social Security or insurance intakeSalesforce experienceBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageAccess to covered mental health resourcesA competitive 401k matchEmployee Stock Purchase Program available to all teammatesTuition reimbursement & student loan repayment assistanceGenerous paid time off planJoining a culture of caring that values diversity of thought and backgroundRegularly scheduled team meetings and one-on-one development time with your leaderCompany OverviewBrown & Brown Absence Services Group is an insurance agency that offers claims, disability advisory, and SSDI advocacy solutions.
