[Remote] Sr. Portfolio Consultant (Remote- South Region)

The Sr. Portfolio Consultant plays a crucial role in driving success for advisors and clients by leveraging industry expertise to build strong relationships and provide tailored support in investment solutions. Responsibilities • Work closely with our Advisor teams, serving as an expert on WEG Investment Advisory Platform, providing guidance, education, and recommendations • Proactively consult and engage advisor teams • Support and optimize investment best practices • Educate advisors on platform and products • Develop strategies for transitioning legacy assets • Incorporate centralized solutions into holistic advisor guidance where appropriate • Serve as an extension of advisor and growth teams to support business development, improve close rates and net flows • Create and present investment proposals for High-Net-Worth client opportunities • Support research and proposal tools for Advisors to implement • Advise on the implementation of complex investment solutions (Alternatives, Options, etc) • Engage with end-clients via seminars, webinars, and prospective client meetings • Create investment collateral to articulate market perspectives and centrally managed solutions • Collaborate with marketing teams to boost national presence through media channels • Collaborate across WEG with various stakeholders to enhance our platform, improve client experience, and ensure our centralized solutions are a competitive advantage for our advisors • Partner with Investment Strategy Team on research and implementation of centrally managed investment solutions • Research and contribute towards continued development of the investment platform • Support business development through due diligence of bolthires firms • Work with other businesses to support firm objectives, including the adoption of broader central services Skills • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Economics or related field • Minimum of 6 years' experience in financial services industry, investments focus • FINRA Series 65 • Knowledge of financial markets, modern portfolio theory and asset allocation • Proven written and verbal (presentation) communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and clients • Ability to create quality written presentations and articles for Advisor and client consumption • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and projects • Detail oriented, highly organized and adaptable • Experience with bolthires Office suite • Ability to travel 10% • CFP, CFA or CIMA a plus Benefits • Training and professional development • Medical, dental and vision coverage (Available to full-time employees and their families) • Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contribution and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for medical, dependent, and transit expenses • Life and AD&D insurance – employer paid and voluntary options • Short-term and long-term disability, workers compensation – employer paid • 401k with match and profit sharing • Wellness programs and resources • Voluntary benefits, including pet insurance • 18 days of paid time off (PTO), accrued annually (25 PTO days after 4 years of service) • 12 paid holidays each year (10 pre-determined and 2 floating days) • Paid parental leave and paid caregiver leave (Caregiver leave available after 6 months of tenure) • Reimbursement for tuition, licensing, and other credentials (Available after meeting service requirements) Company Overview • In 1997, four advisors sharing an office space discovered they also shared an essential belief:The financial services industry needed a new and better way to provide advice to clients—one that would help relieve stress from their clients’ financial lives.It was founded in 1997, and is headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
