[Remote] Sr. Content Designer / Content Strategist (Conversational)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Synergy Interactive is seeking a Senior Conversation Designer to lead the design of consumer-centric conversational experiences across voice and chatbot platforms. This role will involve collaborating with product and engineering teams to create accessible and intuitive conversational systems that meet user needs. Responsibilities • Design and deliver conversational experiences for voice and chat, including multi-modal interactions • Serve as the conversation design subject matter expert for product and engineering partners • Analyze user interaction transcripts to inform intents, utterances, slots, and interaction models • Create detailed flow diagrams and documentation outlining full conversational systems and edge cases • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, UX, accessibility, and legal teams • Ensure conversational designs align with strategy, brand voice, accessibility, and health literacy standards • Lead design reviews, critiques, and stakeholder presentations • Review and provide feedback on team deliverables; mentor and guide junior designers • Contribute to evolving conversation design standards and best practices Skills • 4+ years of experience in conversation design, UX writing, communications, HCI, or related disciplines • Proven ability to translate user insights into effective conversational experiences • Working knowledge of conversational AI, prompt design, and intent modeling • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Demonstrated ownership, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills • Experience designing UI/UX alongside conversational flows • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and comparable platforms • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated environments • Knowledge of accessibility, health literacy, and plain language standards • Experience with conversational AI platforms (e.g., Amazon Lex or similar) • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Curious, strategic mindset with a passion for innovation Company Overview • Synergy Interactive is a forward-thinking staffing firm that ignites innovation by connecting visionary companies with elite AI and digital talent.
